Rounded frosty looking silver leaves are topped with tiny clusters of clear blue forget-me-not like flowers in early spring. Prefers shady moist, rich soils. Best planted as a border, mass planting, in full to part shade. Prefers soils rich in organic matter but will do well in clay. Perennial Plant of the Year 2012. Native to Siberia/Eastern Europe.
