Ruby Falls is a weeping form of Forest Pansy. The velvety purple foliage is displayed on graceful weeping branches, making a spectacular show in spring and early summer aging to bronze-green by mid to late summer. Rose purple flowers emerge before the leaves unfold. Developed at North Carolina State University from a cross of C. c. ‘Covey’ x ‘Forest Pansy’. Native hybrid.
