Product Description
EPIMEDIUM x versicolor ‘Sulphureum’ – Yellow Barrenwort/Bishop’s Hat
Pale yellow flowers nod delicately above medium green, heart shaped foliage, effective spring to fall. Foliage persistent, but not evergreen. Use with forget-me-nots and grape hyacinths for a striking springtime planting. Prefers rich organic soil in partial shade. Epimediums are aristocratic groundcovers rarely growing more than a foot tall. They are the perfect solution for use under leggy shrubs or under trees with competing roots tolerating dry shade. Leaves are attached to wiry stems and can be evergreen, semi-evergreen or deciduous depending on the species.
