This shrub grows 3-5 feet tall and wide and can form dense thickets. It is drought tolerant once established. Similar in habit to Amelanchier stolonifera. White flowers in spring are followed by edible red/purple fruit in fall. This clone was selected by botanist Jim Bissel growing along the Grand River in Ashtabula county, Ohio. Native to Ohio.
