Clusters of showy white flowers appear in May, followed in autumn by clusters of dark blue fruits fading to black, held against a background of glistening orange to scarlet foliage. It readily forms a central leader with stout branches and uniform pyramidal habit. Clusters of showy white flowers appear in May, followed in autumn by clusters of edible dark blue fruits fading to black, held against a background of glistening orange to scarlet foliage.
